Gato de Salto is a Brazilian Samba dancer who has conquered the international Samba scene within 5 years of his first artistic appearance back in 2017.
He dances and teaches a distinct style, that combines high heels with all the flavours of the two Samba Schools that most marked him during his time as a Rio Passista: the sensual elegant style of “Acadêmicos do Salgueiro” and the explosive style of “Paraiso do Tuiuti”.
In 2023, Gato premiered as a Muse and danced for Lins Imperial representing the “Fight of the LGBTQIAPN+ Community.” He has taught in various countries around the world, and is one of the main references for acceptance and diversity within the Samba and Carnival world.
